No solo hago tarjetas de Navidad aunque son mis preferidas. Hace un par de años, hice esta tarjeta para una compañera de trabajo y también amiga que dejaba su puesto por terminar la sustitución que estaba realizando. Escogí el negro porque me daba pena que se fuera y le puse un corazón rojo como símbolo del cariño que le tenía (¡y le tengo!). A Thank You Card

WOW! Casi 3 años desde que publiqué un par de entradas en el blog!!! He seguido haciendo postales y cada vez me gusta más :)

He seguido con la temática Navideña y, todas las postales del álbum de Pinterest a partir de la 36, fueron donadas a la asociación DEBRA (Piel de Mariposa) para vender en su tienda solidaria de Marbella (en concreto en su stand Navideño del centro comercial) tanto en 2016 como en 2017. Como siempre, y como ya escribí entonces, es una pasada hacer algo que te gusta y colaborar con ello en una causa solidaria.

Las excepciones, son las tarjetas 73 (que dí a mi sobrino de 2 años), 75 (que dí a mis cuñados), 77 (que di a los compañeros de trabajo de mi chico) y 79 (que mandé a una amiga francesa loca por los osos).

Hi again!

I keep a record of every card I make and I keep it on Pinterest (by Edi). I think this is a great idea to show and reflect on my taste and evolution on cardmaking.

I do not keep most of the postcards at the moment.

I sent postcards 15 to 20  and 36 to some close friends abroad. Cards 21 to 33 were donated to a charitable cause: it was a rare disease association that wanted/needed to collect money so some were sold in a benefit rummage sale and the others may be sold in the future! It was so rewarding to know that I was helping this way!

So now, I want to leave you with card nº 34, which is one of the ones I still keep.  Do you like it? Let me know!!!

First Post!

I love making cards. I do not have much time to and I am not an expert but I really enjoy it! ;) 

I know that many hobbies eventually turn into one of the greatest and most important parts of someone's life so I will just let it flow and see where it takes me!

It all started one hot summer afternoon last year in Madrid. I started to watch videos on Youtube, went on browsing pins and boards on Pinterest (how typical, I know) and ended up visiting local and online shops where I could buy stuff to use in the creation of my cards. 

I really love Christmas so I mainly focus on making Christmas cards. For me, this is the perfect excuse to think about Christmas the whole year round :D And given that there is no Christmas Shop open all year in Madrid, this is quite a relief!!!


I have lots to learn but here I will be while I still love what I do (and I still do!) Will you follow me? ;)
